Junk King acquires new investor

Junk King, the California-born company, known for junk removal Orange County and across the country, recently got a new investor backing it, Norwest Venture Partners. The premier multi-stage investment firm recently announced that it made a strategic investment in the junk hauling company, with the transaction’s details remaining undisclosed.

Junk King was co-founded back in 2005, and has since grown into the largest junk hauling company in the US, with offerings in more than 100 cities across 35 states in the US, as well as 3 provinces in Canada. As of May 2019, the company has welcomed 5 additional franchisees.

Andreacchi was part of the transaction, and noted that, when he founded Junk King to handle junk removal Orange County and across California, he did not expect how much their franchisees would contribute to their brand. He’s proud to say that the franchising system behind Junk King has brought together people and organizations from diverse backgrounds and career paths in order to create the US’s leading junk removal business. He says that Junk King looks to climb higher as a team, and, with Norwest coming into the team and backing them, Andreacchi feels that the company can do anything it sets its sights on.

Junk King’s Board of Directors will be taking in 2 people from Norwest; General Partners Sonya Brown, and Stew Campbell.

Brown made a statement on the matter, saying that Junk King’s aim of delivering quality, environmentally-conscious service is something that calls to Norwest, adding that handling waste properly via recycling efforts is paramount. She states that Norwest is looking forward to supporting the Junk King team with new programs aimed at driving innovation in the industry at large.

Campbell also made a statement on the matter saying that Andreacchi and his team has built an industry leader of a brand, with the quality consumer experience to match. The technology, customer service, and processes that Junk King has, Campbell says, are all aimed at delivering top-notch customer experience on demand to both commercial and residential customers. Campbell explains that this is why Norwest chose Junk King, and why they’re excited to work with Andreacchie and his franchise network.
