Name A Cockroach After Your Ex This Valentine’s Day

You must never take for granted your local exterminator service because they can save the home or business from a pest infestation. Can you imagine sharing the same space with rodents, cockroaches and flies? Not only are pests a nuisance; they are health hazards that must be eradicated immediately.

If you are still bitter about a break-up and want to take revenge this coming Valentine’s Day, you can name the cockroach after the ex. Getting Revenge on My Ex Day is an anti-Valentine promotion that runs until Valentine’s Day. Last year, the promotion was such a big hit that they made it bigger and better for 2020.

There is also Quit Bugging Me Day that is inspired by El Paso Zoo. Cockroaches will be fed to a host of hungry animals from meerkats, primates and birds. One of those cockroaches has your ex’s name. El Paso Zoo ensures concerned guests that the procedures are ethical and follow a behavioural enrichment program.

The diet of animals is regularly enriched with insects to keep them stimulated mentally and physically. Madagascar hissing cockroaches are frozen in an ethical process before they are given to insectivores determined by the zoo veterinarian’s staff.

To join the anti-Valentine promotion, people can submit the name of their ex online. You will be surprised by the number of names that have already been submitted. There are people who are asking whether they can submit more than one name. However, the zoo has warned that the event will be lives streamed in a social media page and names can be read at random.

This type of anti-Valentine event is becoming an international trend. In England, a zoo started a similar event in 2019 and will be doing it again this year. Bronx Zoo that started the trend in 2011 allowed people to name insects after their un-special someone.

If you are having problems with cockroaches, rodents, flies and other pests, your local exterminator service will deal with it quickly and efficiently. It is important to protect your home and family against health hazards. Have your home inspected as soon as you see signs of pest presence.

Tortilliera Closed By Public Health Department Due To Cockroaches And Rodent Droppings

Pests like files, rodents, cockroaches and ants can cause a number of problems for food establishments. Flies can enter a restaurant while guests are entering or exiting through the open doors. Cockroaches will immediately create a wrong impression among customers. The best way to preserve the restaurant’s reputation is to call national exterminators that will ensure that the business environment is pest-free.

A tortilleria at Pico Rivera was ordered closed by Los Angeles County Public Health Department because of fresh and old rodent droppings and live cockroaches. An inspector from the health department visited the La Fortuna Tortilliera on 9237 Whittier Avenue last October 8. The inspector made a report based on his findings.

The inspector found more than 20 fresh and old rodent droppings on the floor behind the water heater and on the ledge between pipes. There were 2 live nymphs and 1 live adult cockroach on the floor behind the water heater. The tortilliera was given a score of 83 and ordered shutdown. Last October 11, it was re-inspected and allowed to reopen.

The public health department grades facilities with a number and letter score like school report cards. Once a facility is closed because of cockroach, fly or rodent infestation, sewage problems or absence of running water, 7 points are lost by the facility in addition to the 4 points deducted for major health violations. The facility losses another 3 points from its inspection score if 2 major health hazards like unsafe food temperatures are found.

When the permit of a restaurant or market is suspended, they have to close until another inspection is carried to find out whether they fixed the problems. Closures can be ordered during routine or owner-initiated inspections, investigations for complaints and re-inspections. Facilities receive their grades on the day they are ordered closed.

The best pest control services are provided by national exterminators that will strive to solve pest problems. A business must always be protected from pest situations that can cause an inspection from the public health department. Aside from pest control, exterminators will control any future threats that can compromise the health and safety of customers.
