UK’s Online Marketers Fear COVID, Brexit, And Regulations

Published by:

Advertising professionals like king kong sabri suby always have to keep an eye on current events and developments, as advertisements need to be constantly updated. The UK, like any other country, has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, with marketers in the region paying close attention to related developments.

However, this isn’t the only threat that these professionals see, as noted by a report published by LiveRamp and YouGov. The report was the compilation of data from a survey of 506 British marketing professionals.

While the COVID-19 pandemic is the biggest threat in the eyes of UK’s online marketing industry, with 36% of the respondents considering it as such, Brexit came close with a 26% response ratio.

Another notable concern for UK’s online marketing professionals, for people like king kong sabri suby, is what’s called “walled gardens”, which was described by Ozone Project CEO Damon Reeve as the dominance of a select number of companies creating a dependence on them that they leverage for their operations.

These concerns are noteworthy due to the fact that the UK’s online advertising industry accounts for 62% of the country’s total of £23.6bn, which is an increase of 5% from the preceding year.

Guardian News & Media Commercial Director Nick Hewat says that COVID-19’s impact was exacerbated by the UK advertising industry having issues with collecting revenue in accordance with the size and quality of their audience.

Meanwhile, LiveRamp Europe Managing Director Vihan Sharma says that these problematic times are a chance for the UK online advertising industry to innovate and improve on addressability and reach.

Survey Finds That Customers Are Becoming Loyal To Brands They Bought In Quarantine

Published by:

The coronavirus has hit the global economy hard. Digital businesses and marketing, however, hasn’t been hit as hard as most, to the benefit of organizations and people like king kong sabri suby, though even they have had to make lots of adjustments due to changes in customer behaviour.

Bazaarvoice, an e-commerce and digital marketing software company, commissioned a survey to take a look at how customers behaved in a COVID-19 world. The survey was conducted by Savanta, and found out that people are experimenting with the ways they buy and the things and brands they buy.

The survey has 8,000 respondents hailing from different countries, namely the UK, Germany, France, Australia, Canada, and the US. More than one-third (39%) of the respondents stated that they bought a new brand during the quarantine period, with younger customers being more open to experimentation. Of the respondents aged 18-24 years old, 55% opted for trying out unknown brands, while only 27% of the respondents aged 55-64 years old did the same.

Bazaarvoice’s findings are notable for people like king kong sabri suby as it means their organizations and brands have a chance to get new customers, as people have become willing to try out new things out of necessity thanks to the COVID pandemic. Many parts of the world are reporting product shortages thanks to consumers stocking up with necessities, which, in turn, mean that people had to turn to other brands and online to get the things that they need and want.

As for a specific market, the US had a higher number of people opting for new brands, with 51% of the respondents saying as much.  As for the age demographic, 70% of the respondents aged 35-44 admitting that they went for new products, compared to only 32% of respondents aged 65.

On the advertising side of things, digital marketing channels are seeing an increase in use, particularly for those hoping to reach millennial and Gen Z customers. More than a third of both generations, 40% and 42%, respectively, stated that they connected to a brand’s app during the lockdown, while 66% used the mobile self-checkout option in physical shops. About half (51%) to the respondents in the millennial age range stated their intentions to use social networks for product recommendations, while 48% stated that they’ll keep watching unboxing and shopping haul videos to get options.

Coca Cola Temporarily Stops Social Media Advertising

Published by:

For the past few years, consumers’ buying habits have changed. Before making a purchasing decision, consumers tend to read reviews about a product or service. It makes sense for a consumer to read King Kong advertising reviews to learn more information about the digital agency before working with them. It makes the consumer confident about his decision.

Both small businesses and giant corporations advertise through social media platforms. However, the latest news reveals that Coca Cola is temporarily pulling out all of its digital advertising from social media platforms all over the world for at least 30 days. Did the Stop Hate for Profit campaign that called for a boycott against Facebook and Instagram influence the move made by Coca Cola?

Coca Cola’s decision to temporarily stop digital advertising on social media platforms was announced Friday night. Even if Coca Cola only announced the removal of advertising from Facebook and Instagram, it is very likely that boycotts will also affect other social media platforms like Twitter and YouTube.

Boycott of Facebook and Instagram was organized by the Anti-Defamation League, NAACP, and other organizations. It morphed to the Stop Hate for Profit campaign. Coca Cola explained that the company will reassess its advertising policies and standards to be able to determine whether they need internal revisions.

Coca Cola also expects its social media partners to clean their platforms of hate, violence, and inappropriate content. The global soda giant expects social media platforms to be more accountable and transparent with their actions.

Color of Change, one of the organizers of the boycott has explained that it has become a significant trend among major brands that include Unilever and Verizon to pause their Facebook ads for the month of July. Meanwhile, according to a Facebook spokesperson, the platform has invested billions of dollars to ensure that their communities are safe by developing more tools, technologies, and policies.

It is safe to say that King Kong advertising reviews follow advertising guidelines and policies. Clients and employees that post reviews are not paid or incentivized to write their comments on the internet. Whatever feedback is based on the client’s personal experience with the digital agency.

DoD’s Focusing On The US’s Small Businesses

Published by:

The United States’ Department of Defense have noted that small businesses are under threat, with foreign nation states targeting them in order to infiltrate. The DoD reported this recently, adding that there must be more security of small businesses, as well as contractors that deal with cyberthreats.

Katie Arrington, the Secretary of Defense for Acquisition for Cyber’s Special Assistant, said that the US is losing in terms of cyber security, when she spoke at an event hosted by the AFCEA. She says that these adversaries, and their attacks cost the US about $600bn annually, which she notes will multiply when 5G rolls around, thanks to its capability to handle near-unlimited bandwidth. Arlington reports that, in response, the DoD’s latest cyber security maturity model certification (CMMC), has small businesses in mind during its development.

The CMMC is the framework that the DoD uses to grade a company’s cyber-security level, on a five-point scale, with one being the least secure, and five being the most secure. The new framework will require small US businesses to get their system checked and graded by the DoD, based on the purpose of the system and the nature of their business.

Simply put, a business that works on janitorial services or the like will only need to comply with the first level of the CMMC, compared to level 3, which amounts to the NSIT 800-171, or level 4, which is only used for exquisite systems that deal with major information.

Arrington notes that, in the past, the system that the US’s small businesses had to comply with was only two-tiered, which allowed companies to get a Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms) after complying with only 80 controls. She says that the US’s adversaries could just intrude and invade systems while the POA&Ms were being worked on.

Some in the market have noted that these new requirements from the CMMC might help with external forces, it could damage smaller companies pretty hard, to their detriment, with some saying that it might create entry barriers in the markets, limiting them, and reducing the number of competitors, which always happen to the detriment of the businesses, as well as the customers.
