Tutoring Helps Students In And Out Of The Classroom

Over the years, there is always a constant change of the things that people deem valuable. But with all these changes that are occurring, it can be said that one particular ideology seemed to be at a halt. Ever since the world had first learned of the concept of education, it has become an important part of human life. People would always seem to value education and deem it as a necessity, something that people need. In this time and age, where knowledge means power, education has never been more important than it ever was. For some people, education and the constant learning process, is the key to success, a key to a better life and a brighter future. This is probably why people invest a lot on education, particularly the parents. They would always want what’s best for their children.

Unfortunately, not every child can be given a proper education, and not every school can give the same amount of knowledge to every student it has. Because of this, parents would often opt to seek out tutoring companies like Bee Academic Tutoring to further their child’s education.

But the problem is that not everyone can afford a tutor. Luckily, there are ways in which underprivileged students can be given free tutoring, like what is happening in one particular school.

Mrs. Barkley has been conducting an after-school tutoring session with the help of the seniors who wish to better themselves by helping out other students who are struggling with certain subjects. Mrs. Barkley deems the program as an academic learning center wherein people who struggle with certain subjects come in around 3 to 4 to seek out tutoring aid.

For Hailey Murphy, one of the students who are helping out, the tutoring program is a great opportunity for the students to get extra help after school. According to her, the program is definitely working because the connections being made by the students with their older tutors improves their confidence and they come out of the study hall as more confident as they know they could always turn to someone in case they needed help.

Tutors would come in to earn their hours, but they would also ultimately open themselves up to the other students they are helping.
Mrs. Barkley said that they all leave the school knowing that they have done something good for other people.
