Theresa May had declared to renovate council homes by assuring steps to boost the construction of new social housing to aid thousands of families. Estate Agents Hemel Hempstead can now promote these new homes.
The Prime Minister said the Tories will “support the most aggressive councils” and housing organizations to overcome the decline in social housing if she wins next month.
In the past 20 years, the local authority house building had left England with diminishing social housing stock especially with a growing demand for housing.
Currently, there are 300,000 homes for social rent, unlike 20 years ago, and around 1.2 million families on the list of the local authority for social tenancy. It can create a problem to some Estate Agents Hemel Hempstead on where to find properties for social rent.
Mrs. May said, “Whether you are planning to rent or buy, everyone wants a secure place to call their home, and there are thousands of ordinary families on council waiting lists, struggling to save on their first deposit for unaffordable rent.
She continued that, “it’s part of my decision to build a better Britain the next, next generations can be proud of to call their home, and where everyone has a chance to get on with life.”
The deals, where some Estate Agents Hemel Hempstead knew, madethe government provide housing associations and councils funding, and enabled housebuilding capacities from the Homes and Communities Agency. Councils can find available lands, including unused pocket sites and abandoned buildings, under regenerated mandatory buying rules.
The deals will involve a percentage of the social homes constructed and purchased after ten to fifteen years, permitting increments in land and housing value, to be redeposited into new social housing over time.
When it’s time to sell, the tenant would have his first right to buy the property.
Tory ministers hoped to promote smaller developers into the market and to construct ready-made houses, popularized from the post-war years. This will be easier for Estate Agents Hemel Hempstead to sell.
The Prime Minister’s programme for housing was incorporated in the Tory election manifesto, which was disclosed on the 18th of May this year.
