Harley-Davidson Unveiling New Motorcycle

Published by:

The most iconic producer of motorcycle in the United States is Harley Davidson and it has been getting a lot of attention recently because of its plan to release an electric bike called Live Wire which is set to be released before the end of 2019. Fans of the brand are already looking for motorbike clothing sale to have a new wardrobe to match the new motorcycle which is expected to change Harley-Davidson’s history.

It is no secret that the motorcycle brand is not cheap but one of the things that fans have noticed with the upcoming LiveWire is that the supposed price tag of the electric bike will be almost $30,000. This is a high point for electric motorcycles because it is gaining more attention but with the entry coming from Harley it is expected to change the status of the current market.

While many are still waiting for the electric bike, another announcement from the company shook the entire industry. Harley said that it is going to manufacture small-displacement motorbikes with an engine capacity of 338 cc. This will be marketed in China and will be produced in partnership with Qianjiang Motorcycle Company Limited which is the sister company of Geely, the company known to be the owner of Volvo.

In order to achieve success with this new venture, Harley needs to court the Asian market especially the consumers in China. For the past few years, sales of motorcycles in United States are not looking great. Despite this, Harley is still feeling positive as it continues to profit from its motorbike sales.  There is nothing catastrophic that is expected to happen in the near future but according to Matt Levatich, the CEO of Harvey, they are planning to gather half of their sales from outside the US market.

China is known to be the largest producer of motorcycles in the planet. Many of the riders are investing in motorbike clothing sale to make sure that they are riding safe and comfortable. With this, Harley plans to convert more Chinese consumers in using motorcycles manufactured from their brand as a starting point.

WHO Recognizes Traditional Chinese Medicine, And Conservationists Aren’t Happy

Published by:

The World Health Organisation recently recognised traditional medicines, like acupuncture in Bankstown, and green groups aren’t pleased.

The World Health Assembly recently wrapped up in Geneva, and had 194 member states adopt the latest iteration of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases (ICD-11), which, in turn, accepts WHO’s recognition of traditional medicines, like acupuncture in Bankstown, as a legitimate diagnostic source.

The ICD defines the world standard for diagnosing, and understanding the causes of diseases, illnesses, and death, as well as the reporting of health conditions internationally. The adoption of the ICD-11 formally recognizes burn-out as a legitimate medical condition, on top of recognising diagnoses provided by traditional medicine for at least 400 medical conditions.

The ICD-11 has a supplementary chapter that talks about disorders and patterns of symptoms that were first noted down in ancient Chinese medicine, now known across the world, but more commonly recognised in China, Korea, and Japan.

The latter, however, was met with some flak, particularly with conservationists, who say that it might have negative implications for wild animal trade.

Panthera, a big cat conservation group hailing from New York, was one of the group’s who took umbrage with the recognition of the WHO. Their Chief Scientist, Dr. John Goodrich says that recognising traditional medicine, which uses wild animal parts, is effective approval from the UN on the overall practice. Failure to consider the repercussions, put effective regulations, and/or condemn the hunting and use of wild animal parts for medicine, he says, is egregiously irresponsible.

The list of wild animals being poached for traditional medicine is huge, with a massive illegal trade market across the world. For example, Singaporean authorities confiscated nearly 13 tonnes of pangolin scales, amounting to about 21,000 of the world’s most poached animal, intended to be used for Chinese medicine.

WHO, have defended their move, saying that including traditional diagnoses and treatment will do much to translate key information across Eastern and Western medicine, recognizing how many people are reliant on traditional, alternative, or complimentary medicine, so much so that it’s not easy to ignore them in global matter of healthcare.

The WHO already have a strategy for the inclusion of traditional medicine in healthcare systems in use across the world, and are looking for ways to have it managed and regulated properly.

Why An Office Fitout Needs An IT Advisor

According to a recent report by JLL, available office space is moving faster than demand so that landlords opt for office fitouts in Canberra to be more competitive. Office fitouts are overwhelmingly expensive but it provides significant quality to organizations. For significant office design changes, it is important to engage with an IT advisor early in the process to save precious capital.

Carrier presence in the building will eliminate if not reduce initial capital costs for wiring the building to build connectivity.

Prospective tenants must also consider the building itself and its characteristics like slab to slab height, size and continuity of vertical hallways, existing power and cooling systems, size and location of support spaces, separation or integration of building systems and security. An IT advisor can evaluate the characteristics so that costs can be estimated on how the building can support the firm’s IT infrastructure.

Each of the vendors will require a different negotiation. For example, if the project is prolonged or multi-phase, discounts can be provided on total purchase instead of each individual phase. Sydney Light Rail Resumes Services

Published by:

Commuters were not happy during the recent downpour of rain in Sydney which resulted to suspension of Light Rail’s regular operation. Companies that are planning to conduct team building in Sydney can now rest easy as things are looking up. The city has not experienced this heavy rain for the past three months until the morning of June 17. The heavy rain caused flooding which is why Light Rail from Central going to The Star was closed down for a few hours.

During that time, the buses accommodated passengers who are willing to commute. After a few hours, the system went back to normal despite the presence of flood in major roads.

The heavy rain is a result of the low pressure which can be found in the central coast of New South Wales. This brought rain showers all over the Sydney Basin. The cold, icy weather was also very unpredictable. The rain was heavier in the eastern parts of Sydney’s suburbs as well as the central prior to lunch break.

According to the rain gauge of Sydney’s Observatory Hill, the downpour from 9 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon is measured at 24 mm. For about 20 minutes during this time range, the rain was only at 14 mm. For the last three months, this is the highest that was recorded for daily rain in the city.

Within the four-hour downpour, it was also noted that the rain in Manly measures 42 mm while the rain in Mosman measured 36 mm.

For the following day, temperatures around Sydney were expected to reach as high as 18 degrees but mercury reading only showed 16 degrees. It was windy though at 24 kph in southern parts of the city such as Cronulla which gives the resident a feel of the cold, chilly weather.

While the weather might look gloomy, company team building in Sydney are expected to resume the following week as it is expected that the weather will be drier. For those companies pushing through with their original dates, indoor venues are recommended coupled with indoor activities.

Hundreds Of Public Schools Display Themselves In Victoria As Protest Against Funding Cuts

Published by:

Getting high school furniture and running an institution costs a lot of money, which is why the Morrison Government’s $256 million cut to public school funding in South Australia has received a lot of flak. In response, public schools in the region took over Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga.

Hundreds of public schools from the region were on display on the square’s lawn, as part of the Fair Funding Now! campaign, not only to counter the funding cuts, as well as to secure additional funding for public schools. Alongside the pubic rally, the Fair Funding Now! mobile billboard campaign is also being launched in Booth by, with the mobile billboard set to roam across Adelaide, with the aim of informing the community the importance of getting proper funding for local public schools, to ensure quality education, and to get resources like primary and high school furniture, among others.

According to the Australian Education Union Federal President, Correna Haythorpe, the people in South Australia were vexed that the Morrison Government was skimping on public school funding, with parents, teachers and voters alike making their disappointment on the government’s decision to cut $256 million from public school funding clear.

After six years, Ms. Haythorpe says, the Federal Coalition has made it very clear that they don’t support public schools. Reportedly, the government’s plan would drop all the public schools in the South Australia region below the national resource standard, every last one. This means that none of them would have the funding to meet the needs of students for the next half-decade, at the minimum.

AEU South Australia Branch President Howard Spread bury says that recent polls have stated that the majority of voters consider public school funding to be a key issue for them for election, with more than two-thirds saying that greater investment in the local public education facilities is a better investment  for federal funding than tax cuts for high income earners.

He notes that this is a clear rebuttal of the Morrison Government’s cuts to public school funding by their electorate.  They have made it clear what they want; a government that takes funding public schools seriously.

Wedding Photographers Share Red Flags That Could Indicate The Couple Will Not Last

Published by:

Tying the knot is one way of saying that we want to spend the rest of our lives with our partner. Sadly, this does not happen all the time but we cannot know for sure unless we have lived it. Couples spend a lot planning a wedding from hiring a Sydney wedding planner, finding the best catering company and looking through a network of vendors among many other things to do. Another thing that a wedding should always have is a wedding photographer to make sure everything is recorded for a lifetime.

These wedding photographers are not simply snapping photos though. Some have already developed a sixth sense and could predict when a marriage will last and if it is meant to fail. Majority of the photographers asked answered that the way the couple interacted during the professional photo shoot indicates if they will last together because their emotions will show if they are acting or not.

There are couples who are criticizing one another during the shoot but posting a sweet caption later on their social media pages. There are also those that ask for refund because their partner does not look happy on the resulting photographs. This is when you know there is a possibility that they might divorce soon.

Photographers also shared that the way the couple cut their wedding cake is an indication of their true feelings for one another. Couples who really know each other will know if their partner would be fine if their faces are smashed with cake or smeared with icing all over. There are many cases wherein the bride does not appreciate the gesture though it is meant to be funny. It leads to embarrassment and shows the level of respect they have or don’t have. Those who are not in sync are most likely to separate ways sooner or later.

While these photographers might not be correct all the time, Sydney wedding planner agrees on these assessments as they have also witnesses these interactions while planning the wedding for the future husband and wife.

Oil Price Hike On The Gold Coast Before Easter Weekend

Published by:

Car owners know how expensive it is to maintain a vehicle. Many are looking for ways to save such as finding the cheapest mechanic on the Gold Coast but one thing car owners cannot control is the price of fuel. A few days before the Easter weekend, petrol prices started to increase all over the coast. This move is not surprising at all because it is a common move seen prior to important holidays. The increase in fuel prices is happening all over the Coast from the north to the south. It will then slowly happen in suburbs all over the city.

In just a span of 24 hours, the prices in some gasoline stations have increased to $1.59 from the previous $1.29. It is expected that the price will remain the same until the next week as many are going away for the Easter holiday to visit their loved ones.

For motorists who are looking to save from oil prices, visit stations that are located along Brisbane road or in Southport. Oftentimes, the independent gasoline stations have lower prices because they are competing with the giant chains such as BP, Coles and Caltex. Offering lower prices of gasoline is the only way for them to stay ahead of the competition.

There are a number of stations that chose to remain at the $1.30 price per litre instead of going up to $1.59.

Rebecca Michael, the chair of public policy, revealed that the price hike affected stations like a wild fire. Despite the steep costs, drivers who are trying to save will still be able to get bargain prices if they visit the right stations.

She added that the most expensive fuel can be bought at the ends of the Coast – north and south while the cheaper gasoline products can be bought at middle areas. She attributed the fast increase into the blooming effect.

Ms. Michael revealed that customers are now utilizing mobile apps to check for petrol stations with the cheapest fuel prices. This is one way for them to save aside from getting the cheapest mechanic on the Gold Coast in case their vehicles encountered some problems.
