Consumer Agency Questioned Over Frosted Windows Spending

The bureau did not say why they must install frosting film to the windows of the senior staff. This is not the only issue where the CFPB has been questioned regarding the spending since the office has been taken over by Mulvaney. There was also the issue of awarding considerable salary increases among deputies he appointed to aid him in managing the bureau. This was proven by a copy of the salary records from the agency.

Mulvaney took office at the end of November 2017 and he appointed around eight political staff with him. Four are currently earning $259,500 annually while the other one is earning $239,595.
